Our courses and seminars – in Heidelberg or on your premises – provide you with an overview on several topics and methods. Our practical trainings on cell culture offer the possibility to gain important insights in new technologies and changes in cell culture over the last years. Optimization and standardization of protocols for routine culture are introduced as tools to increase result comparability and value. Cell culture trouble shooting helps you to avoid the most frequent problems when culturing cell lines or primary cells. The course cell normalization using adhesive micropatterns introduces you to a new powerful tool for microscopic cell analysis.

Our molecular biology courses train you in important methods. The theoretical parts of the courses provide comprehensive methodological background which is immediately intensified by performing experiments in the practical part. DNA and RNA isolation, quantification, PCR, primer design as well as cloning and developing cloning strategies are contents of these courses. The trainings on protein biochemistry, immunohistochemistry compact course as well as two ELISA courses help you to establish or optimize these methods in you lab.

A course or training will help you to establish or optimize methods in your lab faster and more efficient. As technical staff, researcher, post-doc or PI in the pharmaceutical industry or academia you are provided with a comprehensive overview over methods, pit falls and trouble shooting. The group size of maximally 8 participants allows to incorporate questions from all participants on the one hand and exchange of experiences on the other.
